At Canadian Rifle Chassis, we set out to solve a problem we saw in the Canadian firearms market: SKS owners had limited options when it came to durable, high-performance aluminum stocks. Recognizing this gap, we combined our passion for engineering, firearms, and CNC machining to create a premium chassis designed specifically for the SKS.

Our SKS Chassis is built from precision-machined aircraft-grade aluminum, finished with high-quality anodizing for added strength and durability. Every detail reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and putting the shooter first.

Our design incorporates modern features to allow users to customize their SKS with components that they may already have — unfortunately, collecting dust in their safes. By offering compatibility with modern buttstocks and pistol grips, the Chassis provides true flexibility and enhanced ergonomics. Our SKS Rear Rail provides a secure optic mounting solution that retains zero, even after fieldstripping and cleaning, giving shooters both modern performance and reliability without compromise.

A durable, rigid aluminum chassis system designed to modernize the SKS platform. Precision CNC-machined in Canada, this upgrade provides unmatched stability, modularity, and optic retention.

Transform your SKS with our upgraded chassis system, engineered for durability, rigidity, and added precision. The receiver locks securely into place with our innovative mounting system, eliminating zero-shift even after extensive use. Mount any MIL-STD-1913 compatible optic while retaining the ability to use your rifle’s original sights as backup.

Fieldstripping and cleaning are simple — the rear rail and chassis remain in place, so you won’t lose zero after maintenance. Installation requires no permanent modifications to your SKS (only removal of the factory stock, bayonet, and cleaning rod).

Built from 6061 aluminum and finished with Type III hard anodizing, this chassis is made to perform under harsh conditions while maintaining a professional finish. Every unit is proudly made here in Canada.

How much does the chassis weigh?

The Chassis (with hardware) weighs approximately 23oz (1.4lbs or 650g), while the Rear Rail weighs approximately 7oz (0.4lb or 200g). For comparison, the typical wood stock weighs approximately 27oz (1.7lb or 765g).

Are aftermarket magazines compatible with the CRC SKS Chassis?

Yes. Detachable duckbill magazines are compatible with the Chassis. Magazine adaptors are also compatible, but may require minor modification to the mag release button depending on profile.
Do you ship outside of Canada?

No. At this time, we only sell and ship within Canada.
How long does shipping take?

Production time is up to 15 business days before shipping, but we expect to ship our first orders the week of October 13, 2025. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 2–7 business days within Canada via Canada Post (depending on location).
Where are your products manufactured?

The Chassis and Rear Rail are proudly designed, machined, and finished in Canada.
